DOM Seminarian Ordained to the Priesthood

CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – On Saturday, December  13, the feast of St. Herman of Alaska, His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Diocesan Cathedral, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago, IL.

Serving with His Eminence were Priest Alexander Koranda, Cathedral Dean, Archpriest Nicholas Wyslutsky, Dean of Cleveland, Archpriest Tarasiy Maxim, Priest Christopher Moore, Protodeacon Samuel Slimak, Deacon Timothy Heinbokel, Deacon Pedro Sarsama and Deacon Paul Schlafer. The choir was directed by Cathedral Choir Director, Reader Vladimir Lymar.

After the Great Entrance, Dn. Paul was ordained to the Holy Priesthood.

Following the Divine Liturgy, the Archbishop spoke on the life of St. Herman and congratulated the family. The family hosted a meal in the parish hall for those gathered.
