Chicago Deanery Winter Camp to be held February 15-17
EAST TROY, WI [MW Diocese Communications] — The annual winter camp for middle and junior-senior high students of the Chicago Deanery once again will be held at Hoffer Lodge, Edwards YMCA Camp, East Troy, WI from 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 15 through 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014.
The program will feature sledding, skating, tubing, cross country skiing, hiking, a nature museum outing, team building, snow sculpture, art projects, and indoor swimming in the Olympic size pool at Abbey Springs Resort in neighboring Lake Geneva. Religious instruction and worship will include Sunday morning Divine Liturgy at Holy Theophany Chapel, Williams Bay, WI.
The $100.00 registration fee — all campers are being partially subsidized by the Deanery, while financial aid is available upon request — includes lodging, all meals, materials, etc. Campers are responsible for their own transportation to and from the camp.
Campers should register no later than Wednesday, February 5 by sending a check for $100.00 payable to the “Chicago Deanery” to Archpriest Thomas Mueller, Camp Director, 2515 South 30th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53215-2829.
