CHICAGO [MW Diocese Communications] — Saint Macrina Orthodox Institute is offering a new local, Chicago Deanery Spirituality course for those who wish to begin taking the course cycle for catechist certification or for diaconal vocations. Some students will continue in cohort from the last cycle, but new students in the Chicago and broader Deanery area are welcome.
Archpriest Elijah Mueller, Ph.D., will be the instructor. Those interested may contact him at elijahnmueller@sbcglobal.net. If not already done, Saint Macrina program applications should be sent also to this same email address, and Fr. Elijah will send some preliminary readings. The first class will take place in January, at a date and time to be determined by the students in consultation with Fr. Elijah.
