Detroit’s COCC to sponsor post-Pascha Dinner Dance May 15

DETROIT, MI [COCC] — The Council of Orthodox Christian Churches of Metropolitan Detroit [COCC] will sponsor its annual Spring Dinner Dance to benefit retired Orthodox priests and priests’ widows at the banquet hall of Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 26375 West Chicago Road, Redford, MI on Sunday, May 15, 2016.

The event will begin with a social hour at 5:00 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner at 6:00.  There will be live music by the Off Beats and entertainment for children.

Tickets including dinner and refreshments are $40.00 per person, with children ages 12 and under admitted free.  Each COCC member parish is eligible to receive two complimentary tickets for its clergy.

The COCC is also soliciting advertising for a souvenir book that will be distributed at the event. The COCC is a 58-year-old clergy and lay association that represents various canonical Orthodox churches in metro Detroit.
