CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – St. George Cathedral announces an upcoming retreat held by the community at the end of the month, Saturday, September 30, from 9:00am – 4:30pm CDT. The retreat is entitled “Prayer: Longing for God.” This is a community-wide retreat led by Holy Cross Monastery and organized by St. George Cathedral and Holy Virgin Protection Cathedral, in conjunction with St. Nikodim Brotherhood.
There is no charge for this spiritual event, however, donations are welcomed and highly appreciated. The Holy Cross Monastery is currently building a new and beautiful church, and donations will be used for that cause.
