CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – On Sunday, May 11, His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Diocesan Cathedral, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago, IL.
Serving with His Eminence were Archpriest Herman Kincaid, Chancellor, Priest Alexander Koranda, Cathedral Dean, and Deacon Matthew Kaminsky. The choir was directed by Ms. Olga Garklavs.
After the Consecration of the Holy Gifts, Subdeacon Paul Schlafer was ordained to the Holy Diaconate.
Following the Divine Liturgy, the Archbishop congratulated the family Deacon Paul and his family. Following the service, the Schlafer family left for St. Tikhon’s Seminary to finish the spring semester.
