REGARDING ORTHODOX YOUTH & YOUNG ADULT MINISTRIES
To the Deans, Rectors and Priests-in-Charge of the Diocese of the Midwest:
The Lord bless you!
I write to you to encourage you to assist Orthodox Youth & Young Adult Ministries (OYM), the newest Agency of the Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America, which will be reaching out to you in the near future. OYM will contact you via email or telephone to ask that you complete a survey on youth and young adult ministry at your parish. The data they receive will be used to assess national trends in youth work, and will not be shared except in the aggregate. OYM will use this data to formulate strategies for addressing the needs expressed in the survey results.
Your participation in this nationwide survey is vital to painting a complete picture of our ministry to our young people, and how best to serve their needs and the needs of those wonderful volunteers who take on this service to Christ and His Holy Church.
