05.07.09 100th ANNIVERSARY OF THE REPOSE OF SAINT ALEXIS TOTH, MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA
On May 6/7 His Beatitude, the Most Blessed Jonah, Metropolitan of All America and Canada, together with His Eminence, Archbishop Job commemorated the 100th Anniversary of the repose of Saint Alexis (Toth) of Minneapolis and Wilkes Barre. The visit marked the first for Metropolitan Jonah to the Diocese of the Midwest.

On Sunday, May 3, 2009, His Eminence, Archbishop Job of Chicago presided at the Divine Liturgy marking the 20th anniversary of St. Joseph Church, Wheaton, IL.

On Saturday 2 May, Archbishop Job served the Divine Liturgy at Saints Cyril and Methodius Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During the Divine Liturgy Archbishop Job elevated Deacon George Potym to the rank of Protodeacon and ordained Deacon John Jones to the Holy Priesthood.
