Holy Trinity Orthodox Church - July 15-16, 2006
On the weekend of July 15 & 16, His Eminence, Archbishop JOB, visited Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. At Vespers of Saturday His Eminence tonsured Bohdan Melnechenko Reader and ordained Reader Richard Flom to the Subdiaconate.
The Divine Liturgy on Sunday morning was concelebrated by His Eminence, Archpriest Jonathan Proctor, parish Rector, Fr Andrew Jaye, Dn Thomas Rose, Dn William Neumann and Dn Joseph Matusiak.
During the Liturgy parishoner Christopher Maciolek was tonsured Reader, Fr Proctor was raised to Archpriest, Dn William Neumann was ordained to the Holy Priesthood and Reader Bohdan Melnechenko was ordained to the Subdiaconate and Diaconate.
St. George Cathedral - July 9, 2006
On Sunday July 9 His Eminence paid a Arch-Pastoral visit to St George Cathedral in Chicago, Illinois. During his visit he elevated Igumen Vladimir (Wendling) to the rank of Archimandrite. His Eminence made the visit on the occassion of Archimandrite Vladimir's last Sunday at St George before moving to New York to take the position of Secretary to the Metropolitan.
Consecration of Sts. Peter and Paul Altar
On July 8, 2006 the parish of Sts. Peter and Paul in Burr Ridge, Illinois received a new altar, which was consecrated by Archbishop JOB in a beautiful service.
