At the Divine Liturgy for the Feast of the Holy Annunciation His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah ordained Diocesan Seminarian Andrew Cuneo to the Holy Diaconate at Three Hierarch's Chapel, St Vladimir's Seminary, Crestwood, New York.

On Sunday 8 March the hierarchs, clergy and faithful of the Chicagoland area gathered at St Demetrios Orthodox Church, Libertyville, Illinois to celebrate the Vesper Service of the Triumph of Orthodoxy.
His Grace, Peter, Bishop of Cleveland (ROCOR) delivered the homily and a choir of faithful from throughout the Chicagoland area, under the direction of Ms. Gordana Trubukovic, sang the responses.
02.06.09 METROPOLITAN CHRISTOPHER
On Friday February 6 His Beatitude, Metropolitan CHRISTOPHER, of the Czech Lands and Slovakia paid a visit to His Eminence, Archbishop Job, at the diocesan Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Chicago. Bishop Peter of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia (ROCOR) accompanied His Beatitude.
His Eminence greeted His Beatitude together with Archpriest John Adamcio, Deacon Joseph Matusiak and Reader Gregory Ealy. During the visit Archbishop Job gave His Beatitude a tour of the historic cathedral and shared aspects of the current life of the community.
